Job Description
We are currently working with an agri-food business looking to hire a Regional HRBP to be based in Singapore.
If you have at least 8-10 years of Human Resource Business Partnering experience and familiar working with a matrix structure, you are potentially a good fit for the role!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Contribution:
- Assist leaders in identifying, aligning, prioritizing, and building organizational capabilities, structures, and processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Facilitate and promote alignment within the BU leadership team, ensuring stakeholder buy-in for the delivery of its vision, mission, strategy, and plans.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Clearly communicate HR and business strategies, engaging others with a forward-looking perspective.
- Manage resistance, objections, and conflicts during conversations firmly, respectfully, and empathetically.
- Performance Management:
- Collaborate with business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior roles aligned with business strategy and objectives.
- Cascade KPIs and communicate performance ratings effectively.
- Employee Advocacy and Change Management:
- Act as an employee champion and change agent, identifying challenges to workforce performance, people investment, and HR initiatives.
- Implement solutions to address these challenges for the benefit of both the business and employees.
- Collaboration and Best Practices:
- Partner with HRBPs and cross-functional teams, including Total Rewards, Talent Development & Engagement, Organizational Development, and Talent Attraction, to develop and deliver best practices within the business unit.
- HR Operations and Compliance:
- Propose and establish the BU HR operating and resourcing structure, aligning it with organizational objectives and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Leadership and Goal Translation:
- Lead the team in translating business strategy into annual performance goals and departmental objectives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to subordinates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
- 8-10 years of work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Significant experience in senior broad-based HR partnering, particularly in international commercial and matrix organizations.
- Business partnering experience within the APAC region.
- Prior experience in manufacturing and/or FMCG industries is advantageous.
